I'm in my early 30’s and I live in London. House Music has always been a very big part of my life for as long as I can remember. Before I became a DJ, I always use to collect tracks, burned them on CD’s and gave them to all my friends. The thought of mixing and becoming a DJ has always been in the back of my mind, but I never got so far to just do it. After a holiday in Ibiza, I got badly bitten by the DJ BUG, but that still wasn’t enough to get me going. It all happened after a really bad experience that I just needed to go out and SPEND SOME MONEY!!

I went home, jumped on the internet, done my research on mixing equipment and headed of to a Dj shop in London. I cleared my bank account and it felt great! It took me a whole day to set everything up and to get it working.

My first mix was hideous! (I still got it) But the weeks to follow I spend up to 16 hours per day practicing. When the time was right I opened an account with Podomatic (Podcast Hosting Website) and launched my first mix on line. Since day one I took great pride in selecting my playlists, mixing and album artwork. I only mix to very strict guidelines that I set for myself. This helps me protect my own unique brand that I created for myself.

My friend Michael told me that he wants to start a radio station called Create Radio and asked me if I would be a DJ on the Radio Station. I was the very first DJ to be on Create Radio. My show is called PRIMETIME and I was absolutely thrilled about this opportunity. I counted down the days to my first show! The radio station became a huge success and I became more involved later on with DJ recruitment and dealing with the Creative side of things.

Me and Michael put everything into Create Radio and then made the decision to take our ideas and start a new radio station as business partners. We make a great team. I deal with the DJ’s and all the creative side of things and Michael deals with all the technical bits and the daily running of the station. Due to the fact that we each have our own area, we rarely disagree on anything.

Today, we are the proud creators and owners of PURE. We have 30 DJ’S, each with their own show and a very successful Fan Club on Facebook. I still do my own show, PRIMETIME on Friday evenings. I love doing the show and I love Pure Radio. It just shows you how fate can change your life. From one really bad expedience came all this. From the day I took out my credit card at the DJ shop until now, I have never looked back and couldn’t be happier. My DJing and Pure is now a very big part of my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

He picked up some sort of bug in Ibiza... When he get’s angry, he spends money and when he get’s an idea in his head, there’s no stopping this DJ. Being one of the two founding fathers of PURE, he is the creator of the PURE BRAND. He is also responsible for recruiting DJ’s and therefore like to call him self the DADDY. DAVID GUETTA (he is like my god!), Laidback Luke, Velarde & Luque Vitti, Steve Pitron, Taito Tikaro and of course ALL THE PURE DJ’S!

Which Club is you Favourite Club?
BEYOND (London), SPACE (Ibiza), SALVATION (London & Barcelona), MATINEE, SUPERMARTXE and of course the Club of all clubs, TRADE!! Sadly Trade is not there anymore. As far as I know the venue, Turnmills has been knocked down. I nearly cried when I heard.... Ok, I DID CRY!!

Where is your Favourite Holiday destination?
Without a doubt, IBIZA and CAPE TOWN!!

What is your star sign?
Cancerian... and a typical one!

Real Beef Burgers (not McDonalds or Burger King!)

What’s your Favourite Drink?
Beer, Mojito, Vodka Tonic, Red wine, Whisky Ginger, Pimms, Leffe Blonde, you name it, I drink it! Not fussy with drinks

What is your Favourite Colour?
I have two favourites, Silver and Black

What do you do when you are not mixing?
Managing Pure, travelling, clubbing, cooking, meeting up my mates or watching a good dvd!
