I have always been a huge fan of music, from the days of vinyl from my cousin, who used to get the recent releases from the pub jukeboxes (yes I have lots of 7” singles with no middles), to buying all the latest 12” remixes, from the local record shops (which I still treasure).

I started mixing purely for my own enjoyment, as a way of putting together great tracks, by great artists. Give me a great vocal, awesome beat and I’m a happy man. In 2006 I took the step of broadcasting my mixes via iTunes as podcasts, something I considered a hobby at the time. Then as I got more into the podcasts on a monthly basis, my fan base grew. I have been approached by artists and record companies, to promote new tracks, so my listeners have gone up in numbers. A recent rebrand last year to “Blended” and a new Facebook group, has helped me promote my music mixes.

I have a passion for funky house, but equally love cheesy pop, so this seemed the ideal choice, for celebrating the two great genres.
I hope you enjoy this new “next step“ onto PURE RADIO, a great medium for any music lover.
