Pure Radio is recruiting DJ's now!

If you are a DJ, you need to have excellent mixing skills and be able to pick out only the best tracks. You may use Vinyl, CD mixing or MP3 mixing. We recognise a good DJ when we see them and don’t judge DJ’s on the equipment they use. You will need to produce a Great two hour mix. We welcome all levels of experience, all sexes, races and ages. You will need to be dynamic, enthusiastic, have a passion for what you do and be serious about DJing and House Music. You will also need a little bit of computer knowledge, but we are not looking for rocket scientists.

We will pay close attention to your beat matching skills and your selection of music. Remember, we only play House on Pure Radio.

All PURE DJ’s produce their shows on a voluntary basis and get great exposure of radio. We all know how tough the DJ PROMOTING world is out there. So this is a great opportunity to make yourself heard or to expand on your name. Remember, PURE do a lot of 3RD party advertising and you can be part of that! If you are interested in playing live sets, there might be paid work for you at private events.
We will need to hear some of your mixes, so a website would be very handy. If you have what we are looking for and we have a slot available for you, then you might be on your way to become a PURE DJ!

PROMOTERS

Any promoters that like to write articles about a great product get in touch and we will see what we can provide you with. We have had loads of people promoting us and really enjoyed being part of the PURE BUZZ!

If you prefer to work behind the scenes in editing you will need to be computer literate and ideally have a passion for house music. Some radio experience would be beneficial, but not essential, we have great training! You will need to show dedication, be a fast learner and have a couple of hours to spare per week. An interview will take place to determine your ability, but don’t be put off by that, it’s easier than one might think!!
